Description
Luxurious Beef Pasta in a Creamy Garlic Sauce
Ingredients
For the Beef:
-
1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced (or ground beef for a quicker option)
-
1 tablespoon olive oil
-
½ teaspoon salt
-
½ teaspoon black pepper
-
½ teaspoon smoked paprika
-
½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
For the Creamy Garlic Sauce:
-
3 tablespoons unsalted butter
-
4 cloves garlic, minced
-
1 cup beef broth
-
1½ cups heavy cream
-
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
-
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
-
½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
For the Pasta:
-
12 oz pasta (penne, fettuccine, or rigatoni)
-
2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
-
Extra Parmesan cheese for serving
Instructions
-
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve ½ cup pasta water before draining
-
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add sliced beef and season with salt, pepper, smoked paprika, and Italian seasoning
-
Cook beef for 4-5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until browned and cooked through. Remove beef and set aside
-
In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant
-
Pour in beef broth, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet for extra flavor
-
Stir in heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, Worcestershire sauce, and red pepper flakes if using
-
Let the sauce simmer for 3-4 minutes, stirring frequently, until it thickens to a smooth, velvety consistency
-
Return the cooked beef to the skillet and add the drained pasta
-
Toss everything together until the pasta is well coated with sauce. If the sauce is too thick, add reserved pasta water gradually until desired consistency is reached
-
Remove from heat and garnish with fresh parsley and extra Parmesan cheese before serving
Serve immediately while hot. This luxurious dish serves 4-6 people and takes approximately 30 minutes to prepare and cook.
