Description
Maple Glazed Bacon Chicken Bites
Ingredients
-
2 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch cubes
-
12 slices thick-cut bacon, cut in half
-
1/2 cup pure maple syrup
-
2 tablespoons brown sugar
-
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
-
1 teaspoon garlic powder
-
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
-
Fresh chopped chives or parsley for garnish (optional)
-
Toothpicks or skewers (optional, for serving)
Instructions
-
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with foil and place a wire rack on top.
-
Wrap chicken cubes with half a slice of bacon and secure with toothpicks if needed. Place wrapped bites seam-side down on the rack.
-
Make glaze: In a small bowl, whisk together maple syrup, brown sugar, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, and black pepper.
-
Brush glaze generously over each bacon-wrapped chicken bite. Reserve some glaze for later.
-
Bake for 25–30 minutes, until bacon is crisp and chicken is cooked through (internal temp 165°F/74°C).
-
Brush with remaining glaze and return to oven for 5 more minutes to caramelize the glaze.
-
Garnish with chopped chives or parsley and serve hot.
