Description

Maple Glazed Bacon Chicken Bites

Ingredients

  • 2 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch cubes

  • 12 slices thick-cut bacon, cut in half

  • 1/2 cup pure maple syrup

  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar

  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

  • Fresh chopped chives or parsley for garnish (optional)

  • Toothpicks or skewers (optional, for serving)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with foil and place a wire rack on top.

  2. Wrap chicken cubes with half a slice of bacon and secure with toothpicks if needed. Place wrapped bites seam-side down on the rack.

  3. Make glaze: In a small bowl, whisk together maple syrup, brown sugar, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, and black pepper.

  4. Brush glaze generously over each bacon-wrapped chicken bite. Reserve some glaze for later.

  5. Bake for 25–30 minutes, until bacon is crisp and chicken is cooked through (internal temp 165°F/74°C).

  6. Brush with remaining glaze and return to oven for 5 more minutes to caramelize the glaze.

  7. Garnish with chopped chives or parsley and serve hot.
