Description

🍈 Melon Breeze Shots

Melon liqueur with soda and shimmer.

🍸 Ingredients (Makes 6–8 shots)

For the Shot:

  • 2 oz melon liqueur (like Midori)

  • 1 oz vodka (optional, for a stronger version)

  • 2 oz lemon-lime soda (Sprite or 7UP) or tonic water (for blacklight glow)

  • 1/2 oz lime juice (adds tart balance)

  • 1/2 tsp edible shimmer dust (pearl, green, or silver)

  • Ice (for shaking)

✨ Optional Rim:

  • Lime wedge (for rimming)

  • Green sanding sugar or silver sugar crystals

🧃 Instructions

1. Prepare the Glasses

Run a lime wedge around the rim of each shot glass.
Dip into green or silver sugar and chill glasses in the freezer.

2. Mix the Shot

In a cocktail shaker with ice, combine:

  • Melon liqueur

  • Vodka (if using)

  • Lime juice

  • Edible shimmer dust

Shake well until chilled and slightly frothy.

3. Add the Breeze

Stir in lemon-lime soda or tonic water just before pouring to preserve the fizz.

Strain into rimmed shot glasses. The result: a glowing, shimmering green shot that looks like a breeze caught in a glass.

🌿 Garnish Ideas:

  • Tiny melon ball on a toothpick

  • Lime twist

  • Glow stick stirrer or serve on a glowing LED tray

🍸 Non-Alcoholic Version:

  • 2 oz melon syrup or melon soda

  • 1 oz lemonade or limeade

  • Splash of tonic water or soda

  • Edible shimmer (or pearl luster dust)
Shake with ice and serve in sugar-rimmed glasses.
