Ingredients
For the Chicken:
1 lb (450 g) chicken tenders or small chicken pieces
1 cup buttermilk
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon garlic powder
Salt and black pepper, to taste
1 cup all-purpose flour
Oil for frying
For the Nashville Hot Sauce:
3 tablespoons cayenne pepper
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon chili powder
1/4 cup melted butter
For the Slaw:
2 cups shredded cabbage (green or mix)
1/4 cup shredded carrot
2 tablespoons mayonnaise
1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
1 teaspoon sugar
Salt and pepper, to taste
For the Sliders:
6 small slider buns, toasted
Instructions
1. Prepare the Chicken

Marinate chicken in buttermilk with paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper for at least 10 minutes.
2. Bread and Fry the Chicken

Heat oil in a skillet or deep fryer to 350°F (175°C).

Dredge chicken in flour until fully coated.

Fry chicken 3–5 minutes per side, or until golden and cooked through. Drain on paper towels.
3. Make the Nashville Hot Sauce

In a small bowl, mix melted butter, cayenne, smoked paprika, garlic powder, and chili powder.

Brush sauce over hot fried chicken pieces.
4. Prepare the Slaw

In a bowl, combine cabbage, carrot, mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, sugar, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
5. Assemble the Sliders

Place a piece of hot chicken on the bottom bun.

Top with a generous spoonful of slaw.

Cover with the top bun and serve immediately.
Notes
Spice level: Adjust cayenne pepper in the hot sauce to your preferred heat.
Crispier chicken: Double-dredge in flour or use panko for extra crunch.
Make-ahead: Prepare slaw in advance; fry chicken just before serving.
Air fryer option: Cook chicken at 380°F (195°C) for 10–12 minutes for a lighter version.
