🌟 North Star Shots

Cool mint and lemon with glowing star sprinkles

✨ Ingredients (makes 6–8 shots):

  • 3 oz lemon vodka (chilled)

  • 2 oz crème de menthe (white/clear, for minty coolness)

  • 2 oz lemonade (fresh or bottled)

  • 1/2 oz simple syrup (optional, to balance tartness)

  • Edible star-shaped sprinkles (shimmery or glow-in-blacklight)

  • Ice cubes

Optional Rim:

  • Lemon zest sugar (1 tbsp sugar + 1/2 tsp lemon zest)

  • Light corn syrup or lemon wedge (for sticking)

🌌 Directions:

  1. Prepare the Rims (Optional)
Run a lemon wedge around the rims of your shot glasses. Dip into lemon zest sugar for a starlit sparkle.

  2. Mix the Constellation
In a shaker with ice, combine lemon vodka, crème de menthe, lemonade, and simple syrup (if using). Shake until chilled and well-blended.

  3. Add the Star Magic
Drop a few edible star sprinkles into each shot glass.

  4. Pour and Shine
Strain the mint-lemon mixture into each glass over the star sprinkles. Serve immediately for a floating galaxy effect.

🌠 Optional Enhancements:

  • Use tonic water in place of lemonade for a glow-in-the-dark effect under blacklight.

  • Add a tiny mint leaf or lemon twist for garnish.

  • For winter parties, serve with a tiny sugar-dusted mint leaf as a “frozen star.”
