Description

🍝 Olive Garden Ravioli Carbonara

Ingredients (Serves 4)

  • 1 (20 oz) package cheese ravioli (fresh or frozen)

  • 6 slices bacon (or pancetta), chopped

  • 3 garlic cloves, minced

  • 1 small onion, finely chopped

  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • ½ cup chicken broth

  • ¾ cup Parmesan cheese, grated

  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning

  • ½ tsp black pepper

  • ¼ tsp red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)

  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

1. Cook the ravioli

  • Bring a pot of salted water to boil.

  • Cook ravioli according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.

2. Make the carbonara sauce

  • In a large skillet, cook chopped bacon until crispy. Remove with a slotted spoon and set aside, leaving 2 tbsp bacon fat in the skillet.

  • Add onion and cook until softened (3–4 minutes). Stir in garlic and cook 1 minute.

  • Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream, scraping up any browned bits.

  • Simmer 3–4 minutes, then stir in Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, pepper, and red pepper flakes. Cook until sauce thickens slightly.

3. Combine

  • Add cooked ravioli to the skillet and toss in the sauce.

  • Stir in crispy bacon and sprinkle with fresh parsley.

4. Serve

  • Garnish with extra Parmesan and more parsley.

  • Serve with breadsticks or garlic bread, just like at Olive Garden.
