Description
Philly Cheesesteak Stuffed Cheesy Breadsticks
Ingredients
• 1 lb thinly sliced steak (ribeye or sirloin works best)
• 1 small onion, thinly sliced
• 1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced
• 2 tbsp butter
• 1 tsp garlic powder
• Salt and pepper to taste
• 1 tube refrigerated pizza dough (or homemade if you’re fancy)
• 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
• 1/2 cup provolone cheese, shredded
• Optional: marinara or cheese sauce for dipping
Instructions
-
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment.
-
In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Sauté onions and peppers until soft, about 5 minutes.
-
Add steak, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Cook just until steak is browned but still tender. Remove from heat.
-
Roll out pizza dough into a rectangle on a floured surface.
-
Spread steak and veggie mixture evenly over the dough, leaving about 1 inch border. Sprinkle mozzarella and provolone over the top.
-
Roll the dough tightly into a log, then cut into 8–10 breadsticks. Place cut-side down on the baking sheet.
-
Bake 15–20 minutes until golden brown and cheese is bubbly.
-
Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.
