Description

⚡ Pineapple Lightning Shots

Tart pineapple and tonic with sparkle.

🍸 Ingredients (Makes 6–8 shots)

For the Shot:

  • 2 oz pineapple vodka (or regular vodka + 1 oz pineapple juice)

  • 2 oz tart pineapple juice (fresh or not-from-concentrate for best zing)

  • 1 oz tonic water (for glow under blacklight)

  • 1/2 oz lemon juice (boosts the tartness + enhances glow)

  • 1/2 oz simple syrup (adjust to taste)

  • 1/2 tsp edible glitter or luster dust (gold, silver, or pearl)

  • Ice (for shaking)

✨ For the Sparkle Rim (Optional):

  • 2 tbsp sugar

  • 1/4 tsp citric acid or lemon zest

  • Edible glitter or sanding sugar (gold or iridescent)

  • Lemon wedge (for rimming)

⚡ Instructions

1. Rim the Glasses

Rub the rims of shot glasses with a lemon wedge.
Dip into the sparkle sugar mix to coat with citrusy shimmer.

2. Mix the Lightning Shot

In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, combine:

  • Pineapple vodka

  • Pineapple juice

  • Lemon juice

  • Simple syrup

  • Edible glitter

Shake vigorously until icy cold and frothy.

3. Add the Glow

Right before pouring, stir in the tonic water for the glowing effect.

Strain into the prepared shot glasses. You should see a bright yellow shot with swirling sparkle and a slight glow under blacklight.

  • Splash of simple syrup

  • Pinch of glitter or use shimmer lemonade for extra glow
