Salted Caramel Apple Crisp Bars
Ingredients
Crust & Crumble

1 cup all-purpose flour

1 cup old-fashioned oats

½ cup brown sugar

½ tsp cinnamon
-
¼ tsp salt

½ cup butter, melted
Apple Filling

3 cups peeled, diced apples
-
2 tbsp butter
-
¼ cup brown sugar
-
1 tsp cinnamon
-
¼ tsp nutmeg
-
1 tbsp cornstarch
-
1 tbsp lemon juice
Salted Caramel Drizzle

½ cup store-bought or homemade caramel sauce
-
½ tsp sea salt (to taste)
Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8×8 pan with parchment.

In a bowl, mix flour, oats, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt. Stir in melted butter until crumbly.

Press 2/3 of the mixture into the pan to form the crust. Bake 10 minutes.

Meanwhile, melt butter in a skillet. Add apples, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, cornstarch, and lemon juice. Cook 5–7 minutes until softened.

Spread the apple filling over the baked crust.

Sprinkle the remaining crumble mixture on top.

Bake 25–30 minutes, until golden.

Cool for at least 1 hour.

Drizzle with salted caramel before slicing into bars.
