Savory Beef Meatballs in Mushroom Sauce
Ingredients:
For the Meatballs:

1 lb ground beef

1/3 cup breadcrumbs

1/4 cup grated Parmesan

1 egg
-
2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon onion powder
-
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper
-
2 tablespoons olive oil (for browning)
For the Mushroom Sauce:

2 tablespoons butter
-
8 oz mushrooms, sliced

1 small onion, finely diced
-
2 cloves garlic, minced
-
1 tablespoon flour
-
1 cup beef broth
-
1 cup heavy cream
-
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions:

In a bowl, mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, egg, garlic, onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper until combined. Shape into 1-inch meatballs.

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Brown meatballs on all sides. Remove and keep warm.

In the same skillet, melt butter. Add mushrooms and onion, cooking until softened.

Add garlic and stir 1 minute. Sprinkle in flour and cook another minute.

Pour in beef broth, stirring until thickened slightly. Add heavy cream and Worcestershire sauce. Season with salt and pepper.

Return meatballs to skillet. Simmer 10–12 minutes until cooked through and sauce is creamy.

Serve over mashed potatoes, egg noodles, or rice. Garnish with fresh parsley.
