Description

⚡️ Sinister Spark Shots

Grape and glow sugar rim.

🍸 Ingredients (Makes 6–8 shots)

For the Shot:

  • 2 oz grape vodka (or plain vodka + grape syrup or grape Kool-Aid mix)

  • 2 oz black raspberry liqueur (like Chambord or a deep berry schnapps)

  • 1 oz lemon-lime soda or tonic water (adds fizz + glow under blacklight)

  • 1/2 oz lemon juice (for brightness and to boost the glow)

  • 1/2 tsp edible glitter (optional, for shimmer)

  • Ice (for shaking)

💥 For the Glow Sugar Rim:

  • 2 tbsp sugar

  • 1/2 tsp citric acid (for tartness and sparkle pop)

  • 1/4 tsp tonic powder or a few drops of tonic water (for glow effect under blacklight)

  • Optional: a drop of purple or neon food coloring

Mix well and spread on a flat plate.

🧃 Instructions

1. Prepare the Rim

  • Moisten the rim of each shot glass with lemon juice or simple syrup.

  • Dip into the glow sugar mixture to coat generously.

  • Set glasses aside to dry slightly and firm up.

🧠 Pro Tip: The tonic component is what makes the sugar glow under blacklight, so don’t skip it if you want that eerie shine.

2. Mix the Shot

In a cocktail shaker with ice, combine:

  • Grape vodka

  • Black raspberry liqueur

  • Lemon juice

  • Edible glitter (optional)

Shake well until icy cold.
Strain into the rimmed shot glasses, filling ¾ full.

3. Add the Spark

Top each shot with a splash of tonic water or lemon-lime soda for fizz and extra glow.

You’ll see a shimmering, slightly fizzy purple-black shot with glowing sugar crystals along the rim — sinister and sparkling.
