Skillet Churrasco with Garlic Butter
Ingredients:

2 lbs flank steak (or skirt steak)

2 tbsp olive oil

1 tbsp fresh lime juice

1 tsp smoked paprika
-
1 tsp cumin
-
1 tsp chili powder
-
1 tsp kosher salt
-
½ tsp black pepper
Garlic Butter:

4 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
-
4 cloves garlic, minced
-
1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
-
½ tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional)

Pinch of flaky sea salt
Instructions:

Marinate the Steak:

In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, lime juice, smoked paprika, cumin, chili powder, salt, and pepper.

Rub marinade over the flank steak and let sit for at least 30 minutes (or up to 4 hours in the fridge).

Make Garlic Butter:

Mix softened butter with garlic, parsley, red pepper flakes, and a pinch of salt. Set aside.

Cook the Steak:

Heat a large cast-iron skillet over high heat until very hot.

Add a drizzle of oil, then sear steak 4–5 minutes per side for medium-rare, or to desired doneness.

Finish with Garlic Butter:

Remove steak from heat, top with dollops of garlic butter, and let rest 5–10 minutes.

Slice against the grain into thin strips.

Serve with chimichurri, roasted potatoes, or grilled vegetables for a full churrasco-style meal.
