Ingredients

1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined

1 bunch asparagus, trimmed and cut into 2-inch pieces

3 tbsp butter

1 tbsp olive oil

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 tsp lemon zest
-
2 tbsp lemon juice
-
½ tsp paprika
-
½ tsp Italian seasoning
-
½ tsp salt (to taste)

½ tsp black pepper

Red pepper flakes (optional)

Fresh parsley or dill for garnish
Instructions

Season shrimp with salt, pepper, paprika, and Italian seasoning.

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Add asparagus and cook 4–5 minutes until crisp-tender. Remove and set aside.

Reduce heat to medium. Add butter and garlic; cook until fragrant (about 1 minute).

Add shrimp in a single layer and cook 1–2 minutes per side until pink and opaque.

Return asparagus to the skillet.

Add lemon juice, lemon zest, and red pepper flakes (if using). Toss everything together until coated.

Garnish with parsley or dill and serve immediately.
