🍈 Ingredients (Makes 6–8 shots):
Sour Lime Base:
-
1/4 cup sour apple schnapps (or sour apple syrup for non-alcoholic)
-
1/4 cup limeade or fresh lime juice
-
1 oz vodka (optional)
-
1 tbsp simple syrup (or adjust to taste)
-
1 tbsp tonic water (for glow effect under blacklight)
-
Neon green food coloring (to intensify that slime vibe)
Green Glow Goo:
-
2 tbsp sweetened condensed milk
-
1 tsp tonic water (for glow)
-
Neon green gel food coloring
-
Optional: Edible glitter or shimmer for extra magic
Slime Rim (Optional):
-
Corn syrup
-
Green sanding sugar, crushed sour candy, or edible glitter
🧪 Instructions:
1. Prepare the Slime Rim (Optional):
-
Dip shot glass rims in corn syrup.
-
Roll in green sugar, crushed sour candy, or glitter. Set aside.
2. Make the Slime Shot Base:
-
In a shaker, combine sour apple schnapps, limeade, vodka (if using), simple syrup, tonic water, and a drop or two of neon green food coloring.
-
Shake with ice and strain into shot glasses until about 3/4 full.
3. Mix the Glow Goo:
-
Stir sweetened condensed milk with tonic water and neon green gel coloring until smooth.
-
For shimmer, add a pinch of edible glitter.
-
Drizzle gently over the top of each shot in a spiral or blob pattern — it will ooze slowly into the shot like magical slime!
4. Serve with Style:
-
Serve immediately under a blacklight for a glowing green spell effect!
-
Optional: Add a gummy worm “creeping” over the rim for spooky flair.
🪄 Tips:
-
Glow factor: The tonic water in both the base and goo will glow under UV light. More tonic = more glow.
-
Want more sour punch? Add a dash of citric acid or a squeeze of fresh lemon.
-
For a non-alcoholic version, use sour apple syrup + limeade + tonic + no vodka.
