Slow Cooker Garlic Butter Beef Tips
Ingredients

2 lbs beef sirloin tips (or stew meat)

4 tbsp butter, divided

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 packet brown gravy mix
-
1 cup beef broth
-
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

1 tsp onion powder
-
½ tsp black pepper
-
½ tsp salt (or to taste)

1 tbsp cornstarch + 2 tbsp water (optional, for thickening)

Fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions

Sear the Beef (Optional but Recommended):
In a skillet, melt 2 tbsp butter over medium-high heat. Add beef tips and sear for 2–3 minutes per side until browned. Transfer to your slow cooker. -
Make the Garlic Butter Sauce:
In the same skillet, melt remaining 2 tbsp butter. Add minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
Stir in beef broth, brown gravy mix, Worcestershire sauce, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Pour mixture over the beef in the slow cooker. -
Slow Cook:
Cover and cook on LOW for 6–7 hours or HIGH for 3–4 hours, until beef is tender and flavorful. -
Thicken (Optional):
If you prefer a thicker sauce, mix cornstarch with water and stir it into the slow cooker during the last 20 minutes of cooking. -
Serve:
Spoon beef tips and gravy over mashed potatoes, rice, or egg noodles. Garnish with chopped parsley.
