Slow Cooker Honey Garlic Meatballs with Rice
Ingredients
For the Meatballs:

1 lb ground beef (or mix beef and pork)

½ cup breadcrumbs

1 large egg
-
3 garlic cloves, minced
-
2 tbsp soy sauce
-
1 tsp onion powder
-
Salt and black pepper, to taste
For the Sauce:

½ cup honey
-
¼ cup soy sauce
-
3 garlic cloves, minced
-
2 tbsp ketchup
-
1 tsp sesame oil
-
½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
For Serving:

3 cups cooked rice
-
Sesame seeds and sliced green onions for garnish
Instructions

In a bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, minced garlic, soy sauce, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Form into 1–2 inch meatballs.

Place meatballs in the slow cooker.

In a separate bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, garlic, ketchup, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes. Pour over the meatballs.

Cover and cook on LOW for 4–5 hours or HIGH for 2–3 hours, until meatballs are cooked through and sauce is thickened.

Serve meatballs over cooked rice and garnish with sesame seeds and sliced green onions.
