Slow Cooker Maple Brown Sugar Pork Tenderloin

Ingredients

  • 2 pork tenderloins (about 2 lbs total)

  • ½ cup maple syrup

  • ½ cup brown sugar

  • ¼ cup soy sauce

  • 2 tbsp Dijon mustard

  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar

  • 1 tbsp minced garlic

  • 1 tsp onion powder

  • 1 tsp smoked paprika

  • ½ tsp black pepper

  • ½ tsp salt

  • 2 tbsp butter

  • 2 tbsp cornstarch + 2 tbsp cold water (optional, for thickening)


Instructions

  1. Pat pork tenderloins dry and place them in the slow cooker.

  2. In a bowl, whisk together:
    maple syrup, brown sugar, soy sauce, Dijon, apple cider vinegar, garlic, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.

  3. Pour the mixture over the pork.

  4. Cover and cook on LOW for 6 hours or HIGH for 4 hours, until tender and fully cooked.

  5. Remove pork and slice or shred.

  6. Optional glaze:

    • Pour the slow cooker sauce into a saucepan.

    • Add 2 tbsp butter and bring to a simmer.

    • Whisk in cornstarch slurry (2 tbsp cornstarch + 2 tbsp cold water).

    • Cook until thick and glossy.

  7. Return pork to slow cooker or drizzle glaze over the sliced pork before serving.
