Smoky Ranch Steak Skillet

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ lbs sirloin or flank steak, cut into thin strips

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 2 tbsp butter

  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix

  • 1 tsp smoked paprika

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • ½ tsp onion powder

  • ½ tsp black pepper

  • ½ tsp chili powder (optional)

  • 1 cup sliced bell peppers

  • 1 small onion, sliced

  • 2 tbsp chopped parsley

  • Lemon or lime wedges (optional)


Instructions

  1. Season the steak:
    Toss steak strips with ranch seasoning, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, pepper, and chili powder.

  2. Sear the steak:
    Heat olive oil in a hot skillet. Add steak and cook 3–4 minutes per side until browned. Remove and set aside.

  3. Cook the veggies:
    Add butter, onions, and peppers to the skillet. Sauté until tender and slightly charred.

  4. Combine:
    Return steak to the skillet and toss everything in the butter-ranch sauce until coated.

  5. Serve:
    Garnish with parsley and a squeeze of lemon or lime.
