Ingredients

1 lb (450g) ribeye or sirloin steak, thinly sliced

1 tbsp olive oil

1 tbsp butter

1 small onion, thinly sliced

1 small green bell pepper, thinly sliced

2 cloves garlic, minced

Salt and black pepper, to taste

1 tsp Worcestershire sauce

4 slices Texas toast (or thick garlic bread)

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (or provolone/cheddar mix)

1 tbsp parsley, chopped (optional)
Instructions

Bake or toast the garlic bread according to package directions until golden and crisp.

Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add sliced steak and cook for 2–3 minutes until browned. Season with salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce.

Add onions, bell peppers, and minced garlic. Cook until softened and caramelized, about 5–6 minutes.

Spoon the steak mixture evenly over each garlic toast slice. Top with shredded cheese.

Broil for 1–2 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and melted.

Sprinkle with parsley and serve hot.
