Description
Steak and Shrimp Pasta
Ingredients:
For the Steak & Shrimp:

1 lb steak (ribeye or sirloin), sliced into thin strips

1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
-
2 tbsp olive oil
-
1 tsp smoked paprika
-
½ tsp garlic powder
-
Salt & black pepper, to taste
For the Pasta & Sauce:
-
12 oz fettuccine or linguine
-
3 tbsp unsalted butter
-
4 cloves garlic, minced
-
1 cup heavy cream
-
½ cup chicken broth (or white wine for more depth)
-
1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
-
½ tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
-
Salt & pepper, to taste

2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:

Cook the Pasta:

Boil salted water and cook pasta al dente. Reserve ½ cup pasta water before draining.

Cook the Steak:
-
Season steak strips with paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.

Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.

Sear steak 2–3 minutes per side until desired doneness. Remove and set aside.

Cook the Shrimp:
-
In the same skillet, add remaining oil and cook shrimp 1–2 minutes per side until pink and opaque. Remove and set aside.

Make the Sauce:

Reduce heat to medium. Melt butter and sauté garlic 30 seconds until fragrant.

Add cream and chicken broth, simmer 3–4 minutes until slightly thickened.

Stir in Parmesan cheese until smooth. Season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes.

Combine:
-
Toss cooked pasta in the sauce, adding reserved pasta water as needed to loosen.

Fold in steak and shrimp.

Serve:

Garnish with chopped parsley and extra Parmesan. Serve immediately.
