Sticky Honey BBQ Meatballs
Ingredients

1 lb ground beef

½ lb ground pork

½ cup bread crumbs

1 teaspoon dried minced onion or onion powder

½ cup finely grated Parmesan cheese

1 egg
-
2 cloves garlic, minced or pressed

½ teaspoon salt
For the Sauce

½ cup honey
-
½ cup BBQ sauce

2 teaspoons smoked paprika (optional for smoky depth)
Instructions

Make meatballs: Mix ground beef, pork, bread crumbs, minced onion, Parmesan, egg, garlic, and salt in a bowl. Form into meatballs.

Cook meatballs: Heat a thin layer of oil in a large frying pan over medium-high heat. Brown meatballs on one side for 4-5 minutes, then turn over. Cover and cook for an additional 5 minutes until cooked through.

Prepare sauce: Remove most of the fat from the pan, leaving about 1-2 tablespoons. Add honey to the pan to deglaze, scraping up browned bits.

Combine sauce: When honey is bubbly, stir in smoked paprika and BBQ sauce. Mix well.

Coat meatballs: Return meatballs to the pan and stir to coat evenly with sticky honey BBQ sauce.

Serve warm: Garnish with chopped parsley or green onions as desired.
