  • Author: Stephanie

Description

🍓 Strawberry Piña Colada

A fruity fusion of strawberries, pineapple, and coconut—creamy, icy, and perfectly pink!
Think: a frozen colada kissed by fresh summer berries 🍍🥥🍓

📝 Ingredients (1 serving):

  • 2 oz light rum (such as Bacardi or Cruzan)

  • 1 oz cream of coconut (Coco López or Goya preferred)

  • 2 oz pineapple juice (chilled) 🍍

  • ½ cup fresh strawberries (hulled, or use frozen for an icier texture) 🍓

  • 1 cup crushed ice 🧊

  • Garnish: Whole strawberry or pineapple wedge

🍹 Instructions:

1. Blend the Goodness

In a blender, combine:

  • 2 oz light rum

  • 1 oz cream of coconut

  • 2 oz pineapple juice

  • ½ cup strawberries

  • 1 cup crushed ice

Blend on high until the mixture is smooth, creamy, and thick—like a tropical milkshake with a fruity kick.

2. Serve

  • Pour into a chilled hurricane or tulip glass.

  • The drink should be icy and pourable, not watery or too thick.

3. Garnish & Sip

  • Top with a whole strawberry on the rim, or drop it in.

  • Optional: add a pineapple leaf, paper umbrella, or a swirl of whipped cream for extra flair.

🍓 Optional Variations:

  • Frozen strawberries? Great! You can skip or reduce the ice for an even thicker frozen texture.

  • Extra creamy: Add a splash of coconut milk or a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

  • Mocktail version: Skip the rum and add coconut water or a dash of vanilla extract for depth.

  • Layered look: Blend a traditional piña colada base and strawberry puree separately. Layer for a swirled sunset drink!
