Strawberry Sunset Slam

A layered strawberry and tropical pineapple drink that looks like a beach sunset in a glass.

Ingredients (Mocktail):

• ½ cup pineapple juice

• ½ cup orange juice

• ¼ cup strawberry purée or strawberry nectar

• 1 tbsp grenadine (for the “sunset” effect)

• ½ cup lemon-lime soda or coconut water (optional for fizz or hydration)

• Ice (crushed or cubed)

• Fresh pineapple wedge + strawberry (garnish)

• Optional: a dash of coconut cream for tropical creaminess

Instructions:

1. Fill a tall clear glass with ice.

2. Pour in the pineapple juice and orange juice first — this creates the bright base.

3. Slowly add lemon-lime soda or coconut water (if using) for fizz.

4. Gently pour the strawberry purée over the back of a spoon to layer it on top — it should drift and settle like a sunset.

5. Carefully drizzle grenadine last — it will sink and create a glowing red-orange ombré at the base.

6. Garnish with a pineapple wedge and strawberry on the rim.

Tips for Layering:

• Pour slowly and over a spoon to keep layers separate.

• Use juices with different densities (pineapple > orange > strawberry > grenadine).

Optional Boozy Version:

• Add 1 oz coconut rum or strawberry vodka to the pineapple juice before layering.
