Description

🌅✨ Sunrise Flash Shots
A radiant burst of tropical sunshine in a shot glass — these vibrant shooters layer tangy orange with a glowing grenadine base and a citrus flash finish. Perfect for summer nights and golden hour vibes!

🧪 Ingredients (Makes 6–8 shots)

🔸 Bottom Layer – Grenadine Glow:

  • 1 oz Grenadine

  • 1/2 oz Lemon-Lime Soda (like Sprite or 7Up)

  • Optional: a pinch of edible glitter or shimmer dust for glow

🔸 Middle Layer – Citrus Flash:

  • 2 oz Orange Juice (fresh or bottled, chilled)

  • 1 oz Peach Schnapps (or orange liqueur for more citrus kick)

  • 1/2 oz Lemon Juice

🔸 Top Glow Mist (optional):

  • 1 oz UV-reactive tonic water (for glowing effect under black light)

  • Splash of lemon-lime soda or citrus soda foam

  • Optional: neon-colored sugar for rimming shot glasses

🧪 Directions

  1. Prepare the Base Layer:
In a mixing glass, stir together grenadine and lemon-lime soda. Pour evenly into the bottom of each shot glass (about 1/2 inch).

  2. Mix the Citrus Layer:
In a shaker with ice, combine orange juice, peach schnapps, and lemon juice. Shake well until chilled.

  3. Layer the Shot:
Slowly pour the citrus mixture over the back of a spoon to layer it gently above the grenadine base in each shot glass.

  4. Top with Glow Mist (Optional):
Add a few drops of tonic water on top for a black-light glow effect, or a dollop of foam from citrus soda to create a misty sunrise look.

  5. Optional Rim:
Rim the shot glasses with neon sugar or edible glitter for a dazzling finish.

🌟 Serving Tip

Serve these under a black light to make the tonic water shimmer! Add a mini orange wedge or a cherry on a cocktail pick for a finishing touch. They’re the perfect photo-worthy party shots!
