Sweet and Spicy Honey Sriracha Meatballs
Ingredients
For the Meatballs:

1 lb ground beef (or half beef, half pork for extra flavor)

1 egg
-
½ cup breadcrumbs
-
2 cloves garlic, minced
-
2 green onions, finely chopped
-
2 tbsp soy sauce
-
1 tsp sesame oil (optional)

Salt and black pepper, to taste
For the Sauce:

⅓ cup honey
-
¼ cup Sriracha sauce (adjust to your heat level)
-
2 tbsp soy sauce
-
1 tbsp rice vinegar (or apple cider vinegar)
-
2 cloves garlic, minced
-
1 tbsp butter
-
1 tsp cornstarch + 1 tbsp water (optional, for thickening)
Instructions

Preheat Oven:
Preheat to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. -
Make the Meatballs:
In a large bowl, mix ground meat, egg, breadcrumbs, garlic, green onions, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper until combined.
Roll into 1-inch balls and place on the baking sheet. -
Bake:
Bake for 18–20 minutes, or until fully cooked and golden brown. -
Make the Sauce:
In a skillet over medium heat, melt butter and sauté garlic for 30 seconds.
Add honey, Sriracha, soy sauce, and vinegar. Simmer 2–3 minutes.
If you want a thicker glaze, stir in the cornstarch slurry and cook another minute until glossy. -
Coat the Meatballs:
Add baked meatballs to the sauce and toss until fully coated. -
Serve:
Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions. Serve as an appetizer or over rice for a full meal.
