Ingredients:

• 1 oz sour cherry liqueur

• ½ oz lime juice (fresh is best)

• ½ oz vodka (optional for a stronger punch)

• Black sugar (for rimming the glass)

• Optional: drop of black food coloring for drama

• Cherry or black heart candy garnish

Directions:

1. Rim a shot glass with lime juice, then dip in black sugar.

2. In a shaker, combine sour cherry liqueur, lime juice, and vodka (if using) with ice.

3. Shake until icy cold and strain into the rimmed shot glass.

4. Garnish with a cherry or place a candy heart on top.

5. Sip it slow—or take it like heartbreak: all at once.
