⚡ Tropic Lightning Shots ⚡
An electric fusion of bright lime and vibrant dragonfruit—tangy, tropical, and strikingly colorful with a jolt of sweet citrus energy.

🌈 Ingredients (Makes 6–8 shots):

For the Shot Base:

• 1 oz dragonfruit juice (or puree, pink/red preferred for color)

• 1 oz lime juice (freshly squeezed)

• 1 oz coconut rum (or plain white rum for a cleaner finish)

• 1/2 oz triple sec (or orange liqueur for brightness)

• 1/2 oz simple syrup (adjust to taste)

• Pinch of edible shimmer or glitter (silver or iridescent for lightning effect)

Optional Fizzy Finish:

• Splash of lemon-lime soda or soda water (for light fizz)

Garnish (Optional):

• Lime zest sugar rim (mix lime zest with granulated sugar)

• Tiny wedge of dragonfruit or lime twist

• Lightning bolt candy (if making for a party theme!)

⚡ Instructions:

1. Rim the Glass (Optional):
   Swipe the rims of your shot glasses with lime juice, then dip into lime zest sugar for a zippy, bright edge.

2. Mix the Lightning:
   In a shaker with ice, combine:

   • 1 oz dragonfruit juice

   • 1 oz fresh lime juice

   • 1 oz coconut rum

   • 1/2 oz triple sec

   • 1/2 oz simple syrup

   • A pinch of edible glitter or shimmer

3. Shake the Storm:
   Shake vigorously until well chilled—this helps blend the tropical tang with the citrus jolt.

4. Pour and Spark:
   Strain into chilled shot glasses. Optionally, top with a splash of lemon-lime soda or soda water for a pop of effervescence.

5. Garnish and Serve:
   Garnish with a sliver of dragonfruit, lime peel curl, or a small candy lightning bolt for dramatic flair.
