Description
Tropical Raspberry-Banana Swirl (Non-Alcoholic)
A fruity, swirled smoothie bursting with raspberry tang and banana-coconut creaminess. This tropical delight is kid-friendly, refreshing, and perfect for hot days or breakfast on the go.
📝 Ingredients (Serves 1–2):
-
1 cup frozen raspberries
-
½ cup vanilla yogurt (regular or Greek)
-
1 cup sliced banana (fresh or frozen)
-
¼ cup coconut milk (for a tropical touch – use full-fat for creaminess)
-
1 tbsp honey or agave (optional, to sweeten as needed)
-
Whipped cream (for topping)
-
Fresh raspberries and pineapple chunks (for garnish)
🌀 Instructions:
-
Make the banana base:
In a blender, combine banana, vanilla yogurt, coconut milk, and honey/agave (if using). Blend until smooth and creamy. Set aside half of the mixture. -
Blend in raspberries:
Add the frozen raspberries to the remaining half in the blender and pulse until smooth. You should now have two layers: a banana-coconut base and a raspberry swirl. -
Create the swirl:
In a tall glass, alternate spoonfuls of the banana mixture and raspberry blend to create a layered, swirled effect. Gently swirl with a straw or skewer if desired for a marbled look. -
Top it off:
Add a swirl of whipped cream on top. -
Garnish:
Decorate with fresh raspberries and a wedge or chunk of pineapple for a bright tropical flair.
🌴 Tips & Variations:
-
Make it dairy-free: Use coconut or almond yogurt and dairy-free whipped topping.
-
Make it a smoothie bowl: Pour into a bowl and top with granola, shredded coconut, and more fruit.
-
Want it colder and thicker? Use all frozen banana and raspberries for an extra frosty texture.
