⚡️ Tropical Thunder Glow Shots

Kiwi, lime, and glowing tonic

🍸 Ingredients (Makes 6–8 shots)

For the Shot:

  • 2 oz kiwi puree or kiwi syrup

  • 1 oz lime juice (freshly squeezed)

  • 1 oz vodka (optional, for a stronger version)

  • 2 oz tonic water (for glow — must contain quinine)

  • 1/2 oz simple syrup or agave (to balance the tartness)

  • Ice (for shaking)

For the Glow:

  • Tonic water with quinine (it glows under blacklight)

  • Optional: green food coloring (for extra vibrance)

  • Optional: edible glitter or shimmer dust (silver or green)

Rim & Garnish (Optional):

  • Lime wedge for rimming

  • Green sugar or crushed sour candy for rim

  • Kiwi slice or green gummy candy for garnish

🌩 Instructions

  1. Prep the Glasses (Optional):

    • Rub a lime wedge around the rims of your shot glasses.

    • Dip into green sugar or crushed sour candy for a tangy, thunderous touch. Set aside.

  2. Mix the Shot:

    • In a shaker with ice, combine:

      • Kiwi puree or syrup

      • Lime juice

      • Vodka

      • Simple syrup

      • (Optional) A drop of green food coloring

      • (Optional) A pinch of edible shimmer

    • Shake well until chilled (about 15 seconds).

  3. Add the Glow:

    • Just before pouring into shot glasses, add tonic water to the shaker or top each shot glass with a splash of tonic for max fizz and glow.

  4. Serve:

    • Pour into prepared shot glasses.

    • Serve under blacklight to activate the glowing quinine in the tonic water — the effect is bright, neon, and thunderous!
