🐍💉 Venom Drop Shots

Tart sour apple with a blood-red “venom” drizzle that oozes down the glass like a lethal bite. Sweet, sharp, and venomously vibrant.

🍸 Ingredients (Makes 6–8 shots)

• 2 oz sour apple schnapps (like DeKuyper Sour Apple Pucker)

• 2 oz vodka (plain or green apple flavored)

• 1 oz lemon juice (fresh for extra bite)

• 1 oz simple syrup (or green apple syrup if you want extra sweetness)

• 1/2 oz grenadine (for the “venom” drizzle)

• Red gel food coloring (optional) – for deeper venom red

• Ice (for shaking)

🧪 Red Venom Drizzle

• Grenadine + red gel food coloring

• OR mix strawberry syrup + red edible shimmer for a glowing venom effect

• Use a plastic squeeze bottle or dropper for clean dripping

🧊 Rim and Garnish (Optional)

• Corn syrup (for sticky rim)

• Black or red sanding sugar

• Gummy snake or red licorice fang as garnish

☠️ Instructions

1. Drip the Venom:

   • Use a dropper or spoon to drizzle grenadine (with optional red coloring) inside the shot glasses before pouring — let it run down the sides like venom trails.

   • Chill glasses in freezer for a few minutes to set the drip effect.

2. Prepare the Shot Mix:

   • In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, combine:

     • 2 oz sour apple schnapps

     • 2 oz vodka

     • 1 oz lemon juice

     • 1 oz simple syrup or green apple syrup

   • Shake vigorously until icy cold.

3. Serve the Bite:

   • Carefully pour the mixture into your venom-dripped glasses.

   • Add a tiny drop of grenadine on top for that final red strike.

4. Garnish (Optional):

   • Garnish each shot with a coiled gummy snake, red licorice fang, or a rim of black sugar for an extra venomous aesthetic.
