🌋 Volcano Tide Shots

🍸 Ingredients (Makes 6–8 shots)

For the Shots:

• 2 oz cherry liqueur (like Cherry Heering or DeKuyper)

• 2 oz mango nectar or mango juice

• 1 oz mango rum (or plain white rum)

• 1 oz grenadine (for lava effect)

• 1 oz lemon juice (to balance the sweetness)

• 1 oz soda water (adds a fizz and tide effect)

• Ice (for shaking)

For the Rim & Garnish:

• Honey or corn syrup (for rimming)

• Red or orange popping candy (Pop Rocks)

• Optional: Tiny edible glitter or shimmer dust for glow

🧨 Instructions

1. Prepare the Glasses:

   • Dip the rims of your shot glasses in honey or corn syrup.

   • Immediately dip into a plate of popping candy. Let them sit for a few minutes so the candy adheres and doesn’t activate too early.

2. Mix the Shot:

   • In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, combine:

     • Cherry liqueur

     • Mango nectar

     • Mango rum

     • Lemon juice

     • A dash of grenadine

   • Shake well until chilled (about 15 seconds).

3. Create the Tide:

   • Just before pouring, add soda water to the shaker (or top off in the shot glass to preserve fizz).

   • Strain the shot mixture evenly into the prepared glasses.

4. Lava Glow & Pop:

   • Add a tiny drop of extra grenadine to each shot glass (it will sink and give a lava effect).

   • Sprinkle with a touch of edible glitter (optional).

   • Serve immediately so the popping candy crackles dramatically as it reacts to the moisture in the air!
