Description

🍉 Watermelon Sangria 😋

Fruity, fizzy, and full of sunshine—perfect for summer parties, BBQs, and poolside sipping!

📝 Ingredients (Serves 6–8):

  • 1 cup vodka (plain or watermelon-flavored)

  • 1 (750 ml) bottle Moscato wine (chilled)

  • ½ cup triple sec (orange liqueur)

  • 2 cups fresh watermelon juice

    • (or puree 3–4 cups seedless watermelon chunks in a blender, then strain if desired)

  • 1 orange, sliced into rounds or wedges 🍊

  • 1 lime, sliced into wheels or wedges 🍋

  • Ice cubes 🧊

  • Optional garnish: Mint sprigs, watermelon wedges, citrus twists

🍹 Instructions:

1. Juice or Puree the Watermelon

  • If using whole watermelon: Blend about 3–4 cups of seedless watermelon chunks until smooth.

  • Strain through a fine mesh sieve for a smoother juice, or leave it pulpy for more texture.

2. Mix the Sangria

In a large pitcher or punch bowl, combine:

  • Watermelon juice

  • Vodka

  • Triple sec

  • Moscato wine

  • Stir gently to mix.

3. Add Citrus & Chill

  • Add sliced orange and lime directly into the mix.

  • Refrigerate for at least 1–2 hours to let the flavors infuse. The longer it sits, the better it tastes!

4. Serve Over Ice

  • Fill glasses with ice cubes, then pour in your chilled sangria.

  • Scoop in some fruit slices from the pitcher for a juicy bite in every sip.

🍉 Optional Twists:

  • Sparkling Finish: Add a splash of club soda or sparkling water just before serving for bubbles.

  • Extra Fruity: Add chopped strawberries, melon balls, or raspberries.

  • Boozier Option: Add ¼ cup watermelon schnapps or more vodka for extra kick.

  • Sweeter Sip: Stir in 1–2 tbsp simple syrup or agave if your watermelon isn’t very sweet.
