Description

 Watermelon Smoothie

Light, hydrating, and naturally sweet—this smoothie blends juicy watermelon, frozen fruit, and creamy milk into a deliciously smooth drink that’s perfect for hot days or a quick morning boost.

📝 Ingredients (Serves 2):

  • 1 cup milk (dairy or plant-based like almond, oat, or coconut)

  • 2 cups fresh watermelon (seedless, cubed)

  • 1 cup frozen strawberries

  • 1 frozen banana (peeled and sliced before freezing)

  • 1–2 tablespoons honey, to taste (or maple syrup/agave as a vegan option)

🍓 Optional Add-ins:

  • Handful of ice (for a thicker texture)

  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds or flaxseed (for added fiber)

  • ¼ cup Greek yogurt (for extra creaminess and protein)

🍹 Instructions:

  1. Blend it up:
In a blender, combine the milk, watermelon, frozen strawberries, frozen banana, and 1 tablespoon honey.

  2. Blend until smooth and creamy.
Check the texture—if it’s too thick, add a little more milk.
If you want it extra cold and frosty, add a few ice cubes and blend again.

  3. Taste and adjust:
Add more honey if you’d like it sweeter.

  4. Serve immediately:
Pour into chilled glasses and enjoy with a straw or spoon. Garnish with a strawberry or a small watermelon wedge for a fun touch.

💡 Tips:

  • Use frozen watermelon cubes instead of fresh to make it extra cold and slushy.

  • Turn it into a smoothie bowl topped with granola, shredded coconut, and fresh fruit.

  • Great for kids and adults alike—hydrating, vitamin-packed, and naturally sweet!
