Description

❄️🧙‍♀️ Witch’s Ice Breath Shots

Frosty peppermint vodka cloaked in cold fog and shimmering frost — icy, ethereal, and enchantingly cool.

🍸 Ingredients (Makes 6–8 shots)

  • 2 oz peppermint vodka (or regular vodka + 1/2 tsp peppermint extract)

  • 1 oz white crème de menthe (for cool minty depth)

  • 1 oz vanilla liqueur or white chocolate liqueur (optional, for smooth frost)

  • 1 oz half & half (or sweet cream) – for a creamy “frozen breath” texture

  • 1/4 tsp edible white shimmer dust or pearl luster dust

  • Ice (for shaking)

🌬️ Frost Rim & Garnish (Optional)

  • Light corn syrup or melted white chocolate (for sticking)

  • Crushed peppermint candy or white sanding sugar

  • Mini peppermint snowflake or mint leaf (for garnish)

🌫️ Optional Fog Effect

  • Small dry ice chips for fog (use caution – do not ingest)

  • Serve in a fog-filled tray or add to serving cauldron for presentation

🧊 Instructions

  1. Frost the Rim (Optional):

    • Dip rims in corn syrup or melted white chocolate.

    • Roll in crushed peppermint or white glitter sugar for a snowy frost rim.

  2. Mix the Elixir:

    • In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, combine:

      • 2 oz peppermint vodka

      • 1 oz crème de menthe

      • 1 oz vanilla or white chocolate liqueur (optional)

      • 1 oz half & half

      • A pinch of edible shimmer dust

    • Shake until very cold and frothy.

  3. Pour the Ice Breath:

    • Strain into the rimmed shot glasses.

    • Sprinkle a touch of extra shimmer on top for sparkle.

  4. Add the Fog (If Desired):

    • Carefully place a tiny chip of dry ice into each shot only if using tall shot glasses and serving immediately. Wait until fully dissolved before drinking.

    • Or serve the shots on a tray filled with fog from dry ice for a safe and magical effect.
