Brown Sugar Glazed Meatloaf

Ingredients

Meatloaf

  • 2 lbs ground beef

  • 1 small onion, finely diced

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 2 large eggs

  • 1 cup breadcrumbs

  • ½ cup milk

  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tsp onion powder

  • 1 tsp paprika

  • 1 tsp salt

  • ½ tsp black pepper

Brown Sugar Glaze

  • ½ cup ketchup

  • ⅓ cup brown sugar

  • 1 tbsp mustard

  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar

  • ½ tsp garlic powder


Instructions

  1. Prep the meatloaf mixture:
    In a large bowl, combine ground beef, onion, garlic, eggs, breadcrumbs, milk, Worcestershire sauce, and all seasonings. Mix gently until just combined.

  2. Shape the loaf:
    Form into a loaf shape and place on a lined or greased baking sheet OR use a loaf pan.

  3. Make the glaze:
    Whisk together ketchup, brown sugar, mustard, vinegar, and garlic powder.

  4. Glaze & bake:
    Spread half the glaze over the meatloaf.
    Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 45 minutes.
    Add the remaining glaze and bake 10–15 more minutes until cooked through.

  5. Rest:
    Let the meatloaf rest 10 minutes before slicing.

  6. Serve:
    Pair with mashed potatoes, green beans, or roasted veggies.
