4 cups water or chicken broth
2 tablespoons butter
Salt, to taste
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
For the Shrimp:
1 lb (450 g) large shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 tablespoons butter
1 tablespoon honey
1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
Salt and black pepper, to taste
Lemon wedges, for serving
Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish
Instructions
1. Cook the Grits

In a medium saucepan, bring water or broth to a boil.

Stir in grits, reduce heat to low, and cook according to package instructions (usually 5–7 minutes).

Stir in butter, Parmesan, and salt. Keep warm.
2. Cook the Shrimp

In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat.

Add shrimp, Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Cook 2–3 minutes per side until shrimp are pink and opaque.

Drizzle honey over the shrimp and toss to coat. Remove from heat.
3. Assemble the Dish

Spoon creamy grits onto plates or bowls.

Top with honey butter shrimp.

Garnish with chopped parsley and serve with lemon wedges.
Notes
Spice level: Adjust Cajun seasoning to your preferred heat level.
