Creamy Garlic Butter Shrimp and Orzo Skillet
Ingredients:

1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined

1 cup orzo pasta

3 tbsp butter
-
3 cloves garlic, minced
-
1 ½ cups chicken broth
-
½ cup heavy cream
-
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
-
1 tsp paprika
-
½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

Salt and black pepper, to taste

2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:

Cook the Orzo:

In a large skillet, melt 1 tbsp butter over medium heat.

Add orzo and toast for 1–2 minutes.

Pour in chicken broth, bring to a simmer, and cook until orzo is tender and liquid is mostly absorbed (about 8–10 minutes).

Cook the Shrimp:

Season shrimp with paprika, salt, and pepper.

In a separate pan, melt 2 tbsp butter and sauté shrimp 2–3 minutes per side until pink and cooked through. Remove and set aside.

Make the Garlic Butter Sauce:

In the skillet with orzo, add minced garlic and cook 30 seconds until fragrant.

Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese. Cook 2–3 minutes until creamy.

Combine and Serve:

Fold in cooked shrimp.

Adjust seasoning with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes if desired.

Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot.
