Creamy Lemon Garlic Butter Salmon

Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 2 tbsp butter

  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tsp paprika

  • 4 garlic cloves, minced

  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • ½ cup chicken broth (or seafood broth)

  • 2 tbsp lemon juice

  • 1 tbsp lemon zest

  • ½ cup grated Parmesan

  • 1 cup spinach (optional)

  • Fresh parsley or lemon slices for garnish


Instructions

  1. Season salmon with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.

  2. Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet over medium-high heat.

  3. Sear salmon 3–4 minutes per side until golden. Remove and set aside.

  4. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté 30 seconds.

  5. Pour in heavy cream, chicken broth, lemon juice, lemon zest, and Parmesan. Stir and simmer 2–3 minutes until slightly thickened.

  6. Add spinach (optional) and let it wilt.

  7. Return salmon to the skillet, spoon sauce over the top, and simmer 2–3 more minutes.

  8. Garnish with parsley or lemon slices and serve over rice, mashed potatoes, or pasta.
