Description

Honey Butter Glazed Chicken Thighs

Ingredients:

  • 6 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs

  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 4 tbsp butter

  • 3 tbsp honey

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 tsp smoked paprika

  • 1 tsp dried thyme (optional)

  • Chopped parsley, for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Season the Chicken:

    • Pat chicken thighs dry and season with salt, pepper, and smoked paprika.

  2. Sear the Chicken:

    • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

    • Sear chicken thighs skin-side down for 5–6 minutes until golden brown. Flip and cook 4–5 minutes more. Remove from pan and set aside.

  3. Make the Honey Butter Glaze:

    • In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium.

    • Add butter, honey, garlic, and thyme. Stir until melted and fragrant.

  4. Glaze the Chicken:

    • Return chicken thighs to the pan and spoon glaze over them.

    • Cook another 5–6 minutes, basting occasionally, until chicken is cooked through (internal temperature 165°F / 74°C) and the glaze is sticky.

  5. Serve:

    • Garnish with chopped parsley and serve with rice, roasted veggies, or mashed potatoes.
