Old School Spaghetti with Just Ground Beef
Ingredients:

1 lb ground beef

12 oz spaghetti

1 small onion, finely diced

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 can (24 oz) tomato sauce or spaghetti sauce

1 tablespoon tomato paste (optional for richer flavor)

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1/2 teaspoon sugar (optional, balances acidity)

1/2 teaspoon salt
-
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
-
1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Grated Parmesan, for serving

Fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions:

Cook spaghetti according to package directions. Drain and set aside.

In a large skillet, cook ground beef and onion over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.

Add garlic and cook 1 minute until fragrant.

Stir in tomato sauce, tomato paste, Italian seasoning, sugar, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes.

Simmer 10–15 minutes so the flavors come together.

Toss in the cooked spaghetti or serve sauce spooned on top.
